OmniPage is seamlessly integrated into PaperPort to allow you to scan directly to popular document formats such as Microsoft Word and Excel or Corel WordPerfect. You can also drag-and-drop any document on the PaperPort Desktop directly to the OmniPage Send-To Link. Now you get editable documents that preserve the layout, graphics, pictures and color of your original document.
* PaperPort Watson
PaperPort's All-in-One Search has been complemented by the addition of a new Intelligent Search Agent called PaperPort Watson. PaperPort Watson acts like a personal research assistant and proactively brings you the information you need by understanding the context of Web pages you are viewing. PaperPort Watson then delivers information that's relevant to the Web page in real-time. PaperPort Watson expands your search universe by automatically using the PaperPort All-in-One Index plus Google, Yahoo, MSN and X1 desktop search utilities (if installed) to incorporate information from the Web, email, news sites, blogs and shopping sites. The requested information is delivered in a flexible sidebar that docks next to the PaperPort desktop. Users can Drag-and-Drop search results to the PaperPort Desktop to quickly and easily collect information.
