At the heart of MatchMover Pro 4 is a powerful new tracking engine, based on new generation algorithms, which bring a radical new performance level to MatchMover Pro, dramatically improving the feature tracking and solving engine. SMART (`Scalable Matching Architecture for Tracking¿) is a powerful new tracking engine, based on new generation algorithms, which bring a radical new performance level to MatchMover Pro, dramatically improving the feature tracking and solving engine: Speed: First and foremost, SMART provides 2D tracking (feature tracking), which is 6 to 10 times faster than the previous engine. 2D Tracking with SMART performs at blazing speeds and makes better use of available processing power. Quality: SMART produces much higher quality feature tracks than our previous engine, with more steady tracks, which have a longer lifespan, with fewer interruptions and drops. Additionally, the new engine places automatic tracks in much more predictable locations than previously. Quantity: the SMART tracking engine automatically places many more tracks on footage than was previously the case, also the tracker quantity factor is now completely adjustable ­ if MatchMover Pro is not placing as many trackers as you need for a specific sequence, you can increase the value yield value and that many more trackers will be automatically created, ultimately producing better, more reliable solves than ever before.
