E-ON SOFTWARE - E-On Vue 6 Easel

Description

The ideal introduction to 3D scenery!

With a rich but incredibly easy-to-use feature set and heaps of content to get you going, Vue 6 Easel will let you create breathtaking images and animations of your own 3D worlds within minutes! Based on the original paradigm of using a predefined set, adding characters and then choosing the best point of view to take the 'photo', Vue 6 Easel constitutes an ideal introduction to the world of 3D. As you become more familiar with the basics of 3D, you can begin customising the sets and, later, create your own, entirely new compositions. In addition, because it is based on a standard concept and interface layout, Vue 6 Easel will let you grow in 3D proficiency from a solid technical background.

What's New in Vue 6 Easel?
# Already own Vue 5 Easel? Here's why you should upgrade: Spectral atmospheres and volumetric clouds
# Image-based lighting and HDRI support
# Re-pose Poser characters
# New terrain tools
# Post-processing effects
# Easily create forests and crowds

Spectral Atmospheres
The new spectral atmosphere model offers the ultimate realism in atmosphere and clouds. True 3D volumetric clouds you can actually fly though, amazing sunsets and sunrises, accurate light scattering, even realistic god-rays! Easily add stunning photo-real skies to your virtual worlds!
Re-pose Poser Figures Inside Easel
The Poser support is now even better, with the ability to re-pose any Poser figure directly inside Easel. Simply click on any body part, and use the Poser-style dials to re-pose it. No need to go back to Poser!
Render Poser Characters Using the Poser Shader Tree
When rendering an imported Poser character, Easel now asks Poser for the exact way to render all the textures. So now, your Poser figures inside Easel look exactly as if they were rendered in Poser!
Image Based Lighting and HDRI Support
Use photographs or special HDR (High Dynamic Range) images to light your scenes, and blend real photos with virtual 3D worlds seamlessly. In Vue 6 Easel, this high-end technology is as easy as loading a picture as a background and letting Easel take care of the rest!
Ambient Occlusion
With ambient occlusion, you can easily achieve realistic lighting effects even faster than before. Create stunning renders in less time!
New Terrain Preset, Erosion Effects and Brushes
The new Peak terrain preset produces sharp-ridged mountains. Three new erosion types simulate the complex effects of water and glaciers on the terrain, all in a simple push of a button! Use bitmaps to create your own brush shapes for carving terrains interactively!
Post-Processing Effects Right Inside Easel
# Easel lets you add special post-processing to you final renders. No need for any external photo-editing software! The new effects are: Lens glare – Add a soft, dreamy feel to any render
# Natural film response – Naturally saturates your renders to look more like real photos
# Auto exposure – optimises the lighting, just like an automatic camera does
# Colour and gamma correction, colour filtering, hue, saturation and brightness

Support for New Layered Materials
Vue 6 Easel provides full support for the new layered material system introduced in Vue 6 Infinite. Easily add more layers to create elaborate materials like rusty metal, mossy rocks, car paint and more!
Memory Optimisation
New technologies from Vue 6 Infinite are also used in Easel to make for an even smoother program response and faster rendering. These include texture and mesh virtualisation, as well as improved handling of duplicated objects and instances.
