The beauty of the puzzle is that the principle of solving is incredibly simple. All you have to do is fill the grid in so that every row, column and 3 x 3 box contains the numbers 1 – 9. (The word ‘Sudoku’ means ‘the number is single’. The same number cannot appear twice in any row, column or 3 x 3 box).

Sudoku puzzles first appeared in Japan about twenty years ago. Our Sudoku puzzles are always created with a structured plan in mind, to guarantee enjoyment throughout the solving process. The solver’s enjoyment is paramount and we’re confident that you, the puzzler, will be continually surprised and delighted by the variety of techniques that must be employed in order to solve the puzzles.
